COAS arrives in Turkey to witness joint exercises

RaheelSharifRAWALPINDI, May 30: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif arrived in Turkey on Monday on an official visit to witness joint exercises being conducted near city of Izmir.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS will be visiting the city of Izmir where he will be examining the joint exercises. The joint exercises shall be carried out in two phases.
One of the phases was commenced on Monday whereas the second one will take place today (Tuesday). Army chief will be inspecting both phases of the joint exercises.-Sabah
