PESHAWAR, January 21: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of Khyber Pakhtunkwa held its meeting under the Chairmanship of Muhammad Azam Khan, the Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday. The meeting was attended by its members, that include Syed Zafar Ali Shah, Secretary Planning & Development and respective administrative Secretaries.
The forum considered 76 projects pertaining to different sectors including Elementary & Secondary Education, Higher Education, Sports & Tourism, Multi Sectoral Development, Relief & Rehabilitation, Excise & Taxation, Local Government, Irrigation, Environment, Home, Board of Revenue, Industries, Mines & Minerals, Transport, Communication & Works, Administration, Public Health Engineering and P&D Departments for the uplift of the province. The forum approved 65 projects with an estimated cost of Rs. 27.963 billion. 10 projects were deferred due to inadequate project designs and one project was withdrawn.-PR
