nuclearsuppliersgroupISLAMABAD, June 17: Pakistan has sought support of Belarus and Kazakhstan to its application for joining the Nuclear Suppliers Group.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi spoke over telephone with Foreign Minister of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, and Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev today in connection with diplomatic outreach efforts to secure membership of the Group.
Both Belarus and Kazakhstan agreed to maintain close collaboration with Pakistan on this issue.-Agencies
