corruption cases in NAB against Nawaz, why NAB is not taking action

BAGH, July 18: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan insisted on Monday that people would not come on roads if Nawaz Sharif’s government was toppled by the army as he failed to deliver. He said corruption in Pakistan will not end until accountability of Nawaz Sharif is not held. He said there are 13 cases of corruption present in NAB against Nawaz Sharif why NAB is not taking action over these cases. He said the solution of Kashmir problem is political. He said that PTI will take up the issue of Kashmir at every forum.
He was addressing an election rally at Bagh. He stood by his earlier statement and said that had it been Nawaz Sharif instead of Erdogan in Turkey, the military coup would have been successful.
Khan said that when Musharraf overthrew the Sharif government in 1999, people did not take to the streets in protest because they were not satisfied with his government.
The PTI chief said that there was a difference between Nawaz and Erdogan, since the latter had brought prosperity to his people before constructing roads and motorways.
“Despite his failings, Erdogan spent five times more funds on education,” said Imran. During his time, universities in Turkey doubled and during his government, Turkey repaid all of its debts,” he said.
“If corruption could be eliminated by arresting low-level officers, it would have by now,” he said. “Corruption is destroying Pakistan,” he added.
He said that the Nawaz government could not bring back Zardari’s money since he himself was a thief. “Nawaz government cannot bring back Zardari’s money from abroad because one thief cannot hold the other accountable,” he said.
Imran also said that NAB had absolved Ishaq Dar from all cases while Nawaz Sharif still had 13 cases pertaining to himself in NAB.
“Ishaq Dar had given a sworn statement in which he had confessed to laundering money for Nawaz Sharif,” Imran alleged.
Imran said that as soon as Nawaz became the Prime Minister, he became busy in multiplying his factories. The PTI chairman stated that the PM’s sons were billionaires and they lived abroad instead of in Pakistan.
He said the people of Bagh should cast vote on 21st July for the bright future of their children. He said that this is time for the people to bring change, adding that the people should vote for ideology and change.
He said why corruption is present in Azad Kashmir like other parts of country. He said the corruption will only end when the accountability will start from Prime Minister Azad Kashmir. He said corruption in Pakistan will not end until accountability of Nawaz Sharif is not held.
He said the corruption could not be rooted out while arrested low grade leaders. He said the corruption could only be overcome when the accountability will be started from top instead of lower level. He said corruption will not immediately end after coming into power by PTI, adding that the accountability will be held from Sultan Chaudhry as Prime Minister of AJK. He said powerful NAB is necessary for the accountability of people. He said that NAB has acquitted Ishaq Dar in money laundering case. He said there are 13 case of corruption against Nawaz Sharif why NAB is not hearing these cases. He said that the thief could not hold accountability of another thief, adding that the thief could only strike deal with another thief. He said independent cell of accountability will be established in Azad Kashmir for stopping corruption. He said accountability will be started from Imran Khan. He said that the biggest problem of Pakistan is corruption. He said the solution of Kashmir problem is political. He said that PTI will take up the issue of Kashmir at every forum. He said that Nawaz Shairf went to the home of his son’s business partner in India during Indian visit.
