PESHAWAR, July 20: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said that the provincial government was planning to make official guests to stay in the Pakhtunkhwa House Peshawar. They include such investors who would either invest in the province or contribute to the exchequer in terms of Income tax or other contributions of the sort to the provincial exchequer. His government wanted to give an ideal environment to the investors and facilitate them to the maximum. This would be a step forward towards restoring the confidence of the investors to come and invest in the province and earn more dividends.
He was talking to a seven-member delegation of Pakistan Community at USA which came for investment in health, tourism and other sectors in the province here in CM House Wednesday. Speaker Provincial Assembly Asad Qaiser, Senior Minister Health Shahram Tarakai, Advisor to CM Abdul Munim, Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Haider Ali and other concerned officials were present.
The Chief Minister revealed his government would launch its own insurance company to reduce investment risk and would also work out how to safeguard foreign investment in the potentially rich sectors of the province. His government is working on it. Unfortunately the past corrupt practices eroded the confidence of the investors. His government eliminated corruption and irregularities and now the investors were planning to invest in different sectors in the province.
Pervez Khattak said the provincial government has also planned health insurance for poor and a health card for the official employees was on the card.
He went on to say that his government was planning to outsource diagnostic diseases because it is one of the prerequisite to have best and efficient healthcare to the people. The tertiary healthcare was now totally autonomous run by boards.
He further stated that his government was recruiting 1100 doctors and senior positions were being filled, this will ensure the availability of doctors in all hospitals of the province.-PR
