sirajulhaqISLAMABAD, July 29: Ameer Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Senator Sirajul Haq while addressing the All Parties Conference to express solidarity with Kashmiris organized by JI said due to resistance of Kashmiris India has come on back foot.
He said Pakistan should start war on Kashmir issue at diplomatic front and parliamentary delegations should be sent abroad to raise Kashmir issue. Pakistan should conditionalise Kashmir dispute in dialogue process with India he added.
Pakistan should immediately start practical steps to implement the four point agenda of Syed Ali Shah Geelani given for solution of Kashmir issue. Siraj also demanded of the government to take effective steps for holding International Conference on Kashmir, holding debate on Kashmir issue in parliament and summoning the meetings of UN and OIC.
UN has become a deaf and dumb institution over Kashmir issue, Sirjul Haq said adding that we made it clear that cold war over Kashmir issue can convert into atomic war and peace full solution of Kashmir issue is only way to avoid nuclear war in region. India has admitted that 60 Kashmiri people have been killed in fresh spree of killing by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir, he added.
More than two hundred children, women and other citizen have lost their eyes as Indian forces used pallet guns to hit the innocent citizens, Siraj said adding that Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir.
We had appealed PM Nawaz Sharif to convene APC on Kashmir issue but government had not taken any step in this regard, so JI called this APC. Kashmir issue would never be solved with the exchanges of the actors and cultural delegations, it can be solved meaningful dialogues, he added.
“We are not against the dialogues, I would go Delhi on foot for meaningful dialogues, starting from Kashmir issue”, Siraj said adding that both governments of Pakistan and India are using techniques to keep masses in dark.
He urged all political parties and government to show unity over Kashmir cause. We would extend full cooperation to the government on Kashmir issue, he said.
Kashmiris have compelled the India to go on back foot, now it is time for Pakistan to play its role to inform international community and Human Rights organizations, Siraj said.
Chairman PML-N Chairman Raja Zafarul Haq, PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Khawaja Saad Raifque, Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, Barrister Sultan Chaudhry, Liaquat Baloch, Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Ijazul Haq, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianvi, Sahibzada Abu al khair Muhammad Zubair, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Sahibzada Tariqullah Khan and Faisal Karim Kundi also addressed the APC. -Sabah
