Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has very unconvincingly bailed out Afghanistan’s Intelligence Agency and the Indian RAW based in and around Kabul. It is Pakistan’s biggest tragedy that its Chief Executive has no heart to call spade a spade, and is so blinded by his commercialized passion for peace that he is ill-prepared to confront the ‘aiders & abbetters’ of the acts of savage terror against unarmed civilians of this country.
His statement that “Pakistan is abiding by accord, and Afghanistan not violating it” is an effort to put salt on the wounds of those whose near and dear ones perished in the Bacha Khan University carnage.
The Military leadership has gone to lengths to establish that the perpetrators of the Bacha Khan University carnage were sent from Afghanistan and that there had been a sinister meeting in Afghanistan between those interested in ‘the terror campaign’ against Pakistan in which the decision to target educational institutions had been taken.
It is unthinkable that what is known to Pakistan’s intelligence network is a mystery to those in Kabul who constitute the government.
Pakistan cannot afford this nonsense from its Chief Executive. Will there have to be another APS or Bacha Khan University tragedy to shake the trading conscience of our Prime Minister?
When will he throw away the shakles of vested interests and confront Prime Minister Modi of India with a firm ‘shut up’ call?
Even a child can tell that India is behind all terror against Pakistan— and that Afghanistan government is only a facilitator.
