QUETTA, August 5: President Mamnoon Hussain visited the Yadgaar-e-shuhada at Quetta camp on Friday morning. He offered Fateha for the departed souls of martyrs and laid floral wreath on the monument.
The President also commended great sacrifices rendered by the security forces and law enforcement agencies personnel in the war against terror. The President laid floral wreath on Yaadgar-e-Shuhada. He was accompanied by Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai and Commander Southern Command Lt. Gen. Aamir Riaz.
Meanwhile, the President has said people and security forces in Balochistan have defeated the negative propaganda of terrorist elements. He was addressing the concluding ceremony of Shooting Championship in Quetta.
The President said credit for restoration of peace in Balochistan goes to the people and security forces of the province who rendered countless sacrifices for the cause. He said operation Zarb-e-Azb has transformed into an ideology and a national course of action. -DNA
