Sirajul HaqGILGIT, August 10: Jammat-e-Islami cjief Senator Sirajul Haq has said liberation of Kashmir from Indian occupation was imminent and if India fails to gauge the ground situation it will meet far worst disaster than former Soviet Union.
He said this while addressing Azm-e-Azadi Kashmir conference held here under JI AJK-Gilgit-Baltistan chapter on Wednesday.
Siraj said that India could not suppress the freedom movement in Kashmir through use of force and bullets. “Feudals, capitalists and vested interests in Pakistan are a major impediment to the freedom of Kashmir,” he said.
He said that the entire Pakistani nation was at the back of the Kashmiris in their freedom struggle.
“I want to give message to Syed Ali Gillani and valiant people of Kashmir that the entire Pakistani nation stands by them. Modi should accept his defeat in Occupied Kashmir and grant them right to self determination,” he said.
The JI chief demanded that Shontar bypass should immediately
be constructed between Astore and Neelum Vally to link Gilgit-Baltistan with Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
He stressed that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan should be given their due share in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He alos demanded that Diamir and Bonji dams should be constructed immediately.
“I am custodian of political and constitutional rights of people of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. They should consider me as their representative in Senate,” he said. -Online
