ISLAMABAD, August 11: President urges Muslim states to resolve bilateral issues through Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC )
He was talking to the outgoing ambassador of Kuwait Nawaf Abdulaziz Alenezi, who called on him in Islamabad on Thursday.
The President said that terrorist incident in Quetta shows desperation of terrorists as Operation Zarb-e-Azb has broken their back. He said that terrorism will be completely eliminated from Pakistan.
He said relations between all Islamic countries should be cordial for collectively eliminating the menace of terrorism and extremism. He underscored that Muslims should resolve their bilateral problems by using the platform of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The President said Pakistan desires to have strong economic relations with all Islamic countries and there is need to have extended cooperation among the Muslim countries in the fields of education, health and science.
Mamnoon Hussain said that Kuwait should ease its visa policy to benefit from manpower of Pakistan. He said the government of Pakistan has taken measures to ensure compliance with Kuwaiti rules and regulations.
The President stated that Pakistan fully supports Kuwait’s policy on Yemen.
Speaking on the occasion, the outgoing ambassador of Kuwait informed that his government is taking measures to resolve problems being faced by Pakistanis in getting Kuwaiti visa and said that these problems will be resolved soon.
The ambassador also conveyed the condolences of Emir of Kuwait over the tragic Quetta blast and said that Kuwait is deeply saddened on gruesome terror incident in Quetta.-Sabah
