LAHORE, August 18: Opposition Leader in Senate Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan has on Monday said that the issue of Terms of References (TORs) still lingers on because Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s accounts are not clear.
Talking to media at Lahore High Court, Aitzaz said that it was unfortunate that only such TORs would be accepted that are acceptable to the government as well while Opposition may only press for changes but can’t bring changes due to their low number.
Aitzaz said that Nawaz Sharif took the money abroad through illegal means and he wouldn’t be allowed to escape from this. He added that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued the notices on Panama Leaks issue and answers will have to be provided there. -NNI
