350292_32114988MUZAFFARABAD, August 22: The people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Monday observed Black Day against Indian Prime Minister Nerender Modi’s statement regarding Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to details, a protesting rally has been taken out from court area in Muzaffarabad that will end in Chakothi. Large number of lawyers, journalists, civil society and school students are participating in the rallies.
Raising slogans against PM Modi and Indian continuous atrocities in held Kashmir, the people said that Indian forces are brutally killing innocent Kashmiris. They also urged the government to discuss the issue at international level so that the concerning authorities would take step to resolve the matter.
Earlier, the remarks of Modi had also been criticized by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto who termed them highly provocative, irresponsible and inflammatory for the people of Pakistan.
On August 15, Indian Independence Day, Modi termed Pakistan as a supporter of ‘terrorism’ and asserted that people of Balochistan, Gilgit and Kashmir have thanked him a lot in past few days and he is grateful to them.
Modi also said that Indians “also cried” when children in Peshawar were killed in Army Public School (APS) attack in December 2014. “This is our nature, but look at the other side. They glorify terrorists,” Modi accused. -DNA
