- Says the government has enhanced education budget up to one hundred billion rupees

PESHAWAR, August 28: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak says provision of basic education facilities to the people is the top priority of his government.
Talking to a delegation in Peshawar, he said the government has enhanced the education budget up to one hundred billion rupees.
He said seven hundred thousand children have been enrolled in schools, whereas campaign would be launched for enrollment of eight hundred thousand more children, who are out of schools.
The Chief Minister said the government established more than twelve hundred new community schools besides provision of stipends worth two hundred and sixty million rupees to deserving students.-PR
