KARACHI, January 28: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq has said that economic and political terrorism also continues in the country and instead of accountability each other’s crimes are being veiled.
Talking to journalists at Karachi Press Club he further said that it is not possible to seal the long Pak-Afghan border, however, all the parties should be made to agree to eliminate terrorism. Peace in the region could not be restored until the pulling out by America.
Candidates spent tens of millions during by-elections but no one asks them anything, he said adding that closure of educational institutions shows that Karachi still remains deprived of peace.
JI will initiate an active campaign against economic and moral corruption in March. British prime minister has no home while our rulers own palatial houses.
Rejecting any chance of martial law Siraj said that military, however, is fighting against terrorism, he said. Due to PPP-MQM conflict those who have won Local Government elections are deprived of their due authority.-Sabah
