ISLAMABAD, September 19: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided not to invite again the opposition parties to take part in anti-government protest demonstration scheduled on September 30 as the party leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said it is not appropriate to bother time and again.
Talking to media, PTI Vice Chairman Qureshi remarked that reaction of the Opposition parties has already come to the fore on invitation for the previously announced Raiwind March.
He, however, said the PTI will cordially welcome those who decide to join the PTI’s protest in Raiwind and it is not appropriate to inconvenience who do not want to follow suit.
“We will wait for the dissenting parties that are not mentally geared up for the protest. Opposition parties may review their stance, perhaps,” Qureshi pointed out.
The PTI, he added, respects the viewpoint of other Opposition parties, saying, “We will join hands and extend cooperation to each other wherever possible.”-Sabah
