India detonated its first nuclear device at Pokhran in 1974, while typifying it as Smiling Buddha, not only to obtain self-assurance but to advance long desired intent of terrorizing its neighbours in Asia and possibly beyond. Indisputably, China and Pakistan are two significantly potent neigbouring countries which have long been designated rivals by India thus waging at least four open wars besides several oblique crusades against these two countries down the history; a lone war of ignominy with China and three wars of revulsion with Pakistan. The 46 billion dollar CPEC initiative, that too entering at Gilgit Baltistan and culminating at Gwadar, Balochistan, of China to empower not only Pakistan but also Afghanistan and entire region has yet again fueled the incessant exasperation of India and its strategic allies like the US. This group of pretenders tied into the band of strategic partnership, with an outsized role of Asia rebalancing pivot to India, have taken a perilous position against Pakistan and China by openly threatening to pursue destabilizing actions in Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan; Indian PM Modi’s address on August 15, was the initiation point especially in the backdrop of CPEC initiatives in Balochistan, AJK and Gilgit Baltistan.
Pokhran-II in 1998 was another fretful passion of India to test Pakistan’s hitherto strategic muscles with the key aim to yet again launch forth and decisive war against the country to get rid of Kashmir problem once for all. In this milieu Pakistan was not likely to just smile back at Indian venture but seriously calibrate the changing nuclear equilibrium while using all of its security wisdom. Despite Indian intention of a final round of battle to secure whole of Kashmir, to India’s delight major part of Kashmir is still an integral part or Atoot Aung and an undersized part of Kashmir as well as bigger size of Gilgit Baltistan is awfully not under its occupation. But unluckily the people of India’s this key part of Atoot Aung, amazingly the burgeoning youth, have decided once again to hold and wrap their dead in a genre of flags and broaching the kind of slogans which are being heard globally while putting even more effectual pressure on Indian psyche than the brunt of pellets oozing out of Indian soldiers’ guns which are trying to blind Kashmir’s future generation.
To India’s horror just after Pokhran-2 test, Pakistan responded with a series of nuclear tests on May 28 1998 that too at Chagai in Baluchistan, a day that carries immense significance in the history of Pakistan as well as its largest province, as the country became an established nuclear power on that day after a team of nuclear physicists, led by Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, conducted six nuclear tests in response to Indian venture, this time Buddha was sputtering back at Indians. Since that day India harboured an ominous craving for retributions against Baluchistan for becoming the ground of Pakistan’s nuclear exuberance. Indian desire to take revenge from people of Balochistan and resultant frustration have peaked when India announced political asylum to Brahumdagh Bugti, the outlawed boss of Baloch Republican Army, currently fading away in Geneva for refusal of asylum. In this state of distress Bugti and his few cohorts have been offered Indian passports by Indian Embassy at Geneva to enable them undertake tenuous campaign around the world against Pakistan and China just like Dalai Lama, who uses an Indian passport to campaign against China.
Similarly there is the news of giving India political asylum to yet another fugitive Abdul Hameed from Gilgit Baltistan as well as Sardar Shoukat Kashmiri and Dr Shabbir Choudhry, two conspirators from AJK who have taken asylum in Geneva and UK respectively with the support of RAW. Paradoxically Abdul Hammeed had chosen to assume the status of a turncoat almost during the same time line when Naik Lalak Jan of the same village in Gilgit Baltistan assumed the status of Shaheed and won Nishan-e-Haider, the highest gallantry award, while fighting against Indians in Kargil. Likewise two Kashmiri turncoats had taken shelter in the west almost at the same time when Kashmir liberation movement was on its peak. India’s repugnant love for people of Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan is clearly perceptible with another oblique hoax of exploring the possibility of inviting the same turncoats from Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan for an event called Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (Non-Resident Indians Day) during January 2017 as the event is celebrated in various Indian cities since last fourteen years. This event celebrated on 9 Jan each year is in the memory of the occasion when Mahatma Gandhi with a status of NRI, retuned to India from South Africa on January 9,1915. Ironically Indian army and RAW are on the spree of brutally killing Kashmiris and scheming for instability through terrorism and sectarianism in Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan, yet claiming warmth for them by inviting defectors of these places to an event dedicated to Gandhi is a telltale of India treachery. Pakistan must remain aware of the fact and respond befittingly to such ploys which are nothing more than part of India’s approach to up the rhetoric against Pakistan and China especially to deflect attention of international community from its gruesome atrocities in Indian Held Kashmir and more so to sabotage the CPEC which guarantees peace, stability and economic benefits to Pakistan and above all Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan and Kashmir. PM Pakistan must take advantage of the occasion of his ongoing visit to the US and sensitize the world community and the UN about the importance of resolving Kashmir issue which is a nuclear flashpoint between two nuclear armed countries.
