pervez-musharraf1ISLAMABAD, September 22: A warrant to seize the property of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf has been sent to SSP Islamabad and Deputy Commissioner Islamabad.
The warrant has been issued in the murder case of Abdul Rashid Ghazi by a local court which had ordered to seize the property of Musharraf who has been declared a proclaimed offender.
The warrant states that according to orders the property should be seized and the court be informed of an auction date.
A permanent arrest warrant issued by the court on September 21 has also been sent to SHO Aabpara. The warrant states all efforts be made to arrest Musharraf and present him in court.
In March this year Musharraf left the country for Dubai complaining of various health issues including back pain. Before leaving he had promised to return home to face court trials.-Agencies
