  • Says there is concrete evidence of Indian sponsored terrorism & terrorist financing in Pakistan especially in Balochistan & Karachi
  • Says BJP govt in India is following policy to weaken Muslims politically and socially
  • Says Pak has taken indiscriminate action against terrorists,  and whole world including US has acknowledged Pakistani successes

Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria 1ISLAMABAD, September 22: Foreign Office Spokesman Muhammad Nafees Zakaria has said that the whole nation and the armed forces are ready to defend the motherland at all costs. He said BJP government in India is following the policy to weaken Muslims politically and socially. He said Pakistan has taken indiscriminate action against terrorists and whole world including United States has acknowledged Pakistani successes.
This was stated by Foreign Office Spokesman while responding to questions at the weekly briefing in Islamabad on Thursday about war-mongering by India.
The Spokesman said exercises of Pakistan Air Force are routine matter. He said Pakistan is a peaceful country and peaceful neighbourhood is the vision of the Prime Minister.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in his address to the UN General Assembly urged the world body for implementing its resolutions on Kashmir.
Referring to the continued gruesome brutalities of Indian occupation forces, the spokesman called upon the UN Secretary-General, UN Human Rights Commissioner and international community to take measures to stop bloodshed in Occupied Kashmir. He said about 110 Kashmiris have been martyred, more than ten thousand injured and about 800 have lost their eye sight due to pellet gun used by occupation forces.
To a question, he said there is concrete evidence of Indian sponsored terrorism and terrorist financing in Pakistan especially in Balochistan and Karachi. This was substantiated by confession of RAW agent Kulbhushan Yadev. Recent statement of Indian Prime Minister was yet another proof of Indian involvement in terrorism and terror financing in Pakistan aimed at destabilizing the country.
Commenting on reports that Brahmdagh Bugti was seeking political asylum in India, he said this only adds to the fact that India is deeply involved in terrorism in Balochistan.
Responding to a question about Indian allegations after reported Uri attack, the spokesman said it has become a matter of habit to point accusing fingers towards Pakistan after every such incident in India. He said Pakistan has nothing to gain from such incidents and in fact these are part of the Indian attempt to divert attention of the world community from its repression in Occupied Kashmir.
He told a questioner that scores of countries of the world support right of self-determination of Kashmiri people. In this regard, he referred to the strong support always extended by 57-member OIC besides categorical statements of many other world leaders on the issue.
To yet another question, the spokesman said Pakistan is carrying out a comprehensive operation against all terrorists without any discrimination. Its results have been acknowledged and appreciated by the world community.
The spokesman referred to India media claims that Prime Minister of Nepal made negative remarks about Pakistan accusing it of involvement of terrorism. He said the office of the Nepalese Prime Minister has issued a statement rejecting these false claims. The statement said what Nepalese Prime Minister referred to during his interview with an Indian channel was about support of Government of Nepal in controlling Nepal-India cross border criminal activities. -Sabah
