aizaz3ISLAMABAD, September 28: Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry has said whether Kashmir dispute is resolved multilaterally or bilaterally but this should be resolved under the framework of United Nations. He said Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has instructed us to present Pakistani point of view in dignified manner at every forum of the world. He said the region needs peace and not war. He said India should raise issues of water while remaining under Indus Water Treaty, adding that if India would try to use water as political weapon or strategic weapon then the consequences of this would not be good. He said Pakistan expects that the leaders of SAARC countries will attend SAARC summit. He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project will be beneficial for whole world, adding that India should not oppose this project.
In an interview with official TV channel foreign secretary said prime minister presented the view point of Kashmiris and Pakistan at UN General Assembly in exceptional manner. He said prime minister during the meetings with world leaders also highlighted the Kashmir issue. He said Pakistan is not isolated, adding that many world countries want to do business with Pakistan.
Aizaz Chaudhry said different countries of the world are attracting towards Pakistan due to economic policies of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
He said Pakistan enjoying good relations with all the regional countries, adding that India would become isolated in the world.
Foreign Secretary said that OIC, Turkey and many other countries have expressed solidarity with Kashmiri people. He said India should face reality regarding Kashmir dispute, adding that India should honor the promises regarding Kashmir which has been made before world.
He said Pakistan never refused dialogues with India, adding that India always deny dialogues with Pakistan. He said India could not suppress Pakistan. He said Pakistan will hold dialogues with India on equality basis and dignified manner. He said Pakistan is always ready to hold dialogues with India. He said India always impose preconditions for holding dialogues with Pakistan.
Aizaz Chaudhry said that Pakistan will continue to raise voice in world about the Kashmir issue. He said that dossiers regarding Indian interference in Pakistan are being prepared, adding that these dossiers would be presented before the international community.
He said Kulbhoshan Yadev was committing terrorism in Pakistan, adding that Pakistan will present dossiers regarding this issue before international community in coming days.
He said Indian view point has not been accepted by US and other countries. He said Pakistan hopes that P-5 countries will play their role regarding the resolution of Kashmir issue.
He said the region needs peace and not war. He said peaceful atmosphere in the region is also in favor of India.
He said Pakistanis did not want to see any kind of terrorism, adding that Pakistan will also not allow use of its territory against any other country. He said leveling allegation against Pakistan by India regarding Kashmir issue is not right. He said India wants to divert attention from Kashmir issue in the garb of Uri attack but Pakistan will not allow doing this. He said Pakistan is not taking part in any kind of movement in occupied Kashmir, adding that two hundred thousand people attended the funeral prayer of Burhan Muzzaffar Wani. He said movement of Kashmiris is indigenous.
He said India should stop atrocities on Kashmiris and should hear the voice of freedom of Kashmiris and should honor the promises made with international community regarding Kashmir dispute. He said escalation in the region is not in the interest of Pakistan and India. He said issues between Pakistan and India could only be resolved through dignified dialogue process.
He said prime minister wants good relations with all the countries of the region. He said SAARC summit should be held and this should not be politicized. He said Pakistan expects that the leaders of SAARC countries will attend SAARC summit. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is known as man of peace. -Sabah
