Good reason for General Raheel to feel amused!

Immediately after his return from his holidays in London, the Prime Minister did two things at a time.
Number one: He arranged a photo session with the Army Chief to neutralize the perception that there is a diversity of approach between the military and the civil leaderships regarding India’s nefarious designs and adversarial actions against Pakistan.
In this photo session several robots were seen in their chairs in a state of obedient alert. These robots happen to hold ministerial posts in the cabinet of MNS. The Prime Minister himself was captured in a confident smiling mood—talking fluently to the Army Chief who kept staring at him intently— fighting down his amused state of mind.
The Prime Minister has mastered the art of creating false perceptions as and when required.
The second thing he did was: he sent his known trumpeters to unleash a wild barrage of abuses at Imran Khan for the latter’s lack of respect for the sanctity of the royal family’s sacred abode in Raiwind.
Imran Khan too is a huge pain in the neck of Mian Sahib, but the greater pain certainly is General Raheel Sharif who, twice during the last ten days, had thrown aside all diplomatic expediencies, to issue strong denunciations of the Indian intentions and come out with statements to the effect that Pakistan would hit back with vengeance if provoked dangerously.
One such statement was made on the eve of the PM’s departure for the UN address. And the other in his brief visit to Germany.
Quite clearly the COAS’s statements have set Pakistan’s foreign policy agenda in the current scenario, spoiling the chances of the PM to get back on course to his ROMANCE with the former butcher of Gujrati Muslims and the current slayer of the Kashmiris.
It goes to the credit of MNS that he realised the importance of explaining his insipid handling of the situation created by Modi’s criminal offensive against Pakistan.
“We have exercised patience and restraint in the face of the Indian provocation. But this should not be treated as our weakness. The CIVIL & MILITARY leaderships are in a state of readiness to counter any aggression”, says the statement circulated regarding the meeting.
Good reason for General Raheel to feel amused!
