pakistanazerbijanflagISLAMABAD, October 7: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that, “Pakistan wishes to strengthen its relations with Azerbaijan in various fields. The Prime Minister emphasized on translating the friendly bilateral relations into strong economic partnership with Azerbaijan.”
He expressed these thoughts during a meeting with Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Ali Alizaidi who called on him at PM House on Friday. ‘Our government focuses regional connectivity through economic cooperation to help people of the region realise their true potential.
Enhancement of trade and business relations between Azerbaijan, Pakistan and amongst other countries of the region is our topmost priority’, further said the Prime Minister. Ali Alizaidi thanked the Prime Minister and expressed the confidence that bilateral relations between the two countries will improve with joint efforts of both the countries. SAPM Tariq Fatemi was also present during the meeting. -DNA
