ISLAMABAD, October 9: A delegation of CDA Union led by its Secretary General Ch. Muhammad Yasin and President Auragzeb visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Sunday to congratulate the new office bearers and assured support for resolving the CDA related issues of trade and industry. Addressing the delegation, Khalid Iqbal Malik, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that maximum problems of business community were related to CDA and better cooperation of the civic body was essential to facilitate the growth of business activities. He said Union should act as a bridge between CDA and ICCI for resolving key issues of entrepreneurs. He said new Chairman CDA Sheikh Anser Aziz was a businessman and business community has lot of expectations from him. He said CDA Union should cooperate with its Chairman so that he could deliver up to the expectations.
Ch. Muhammad Yasin said that business community was playing key role in the development of the city and assured that CDA Union would cooperate in redress of its issues. He said many departments of CDA have been transferred to Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation in hurry while all stakeholders should have been taken on board before doing this.
Aurangzeb, President CDA Union said that transfer of CDA employees to IMC has put at stake the future of 15000 CDA employees as this action has created lot of concerns in employees.-DNA
