mamnoon-hussain-speech2-600ISLAMABAD, October 19: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the government is making the best use of Information Communication Technology for sustainable development, transparency and good governance in the country.
He was talking to Chairman Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization Talal Abu-Ghazaleh in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The President said that Information Technology is playing a vital role for improvement of the economic and social sectors in the country. Mamnoon Hussain called for strengthening cooperation among the Muslim countries for promotion of Information Technology. He said information communication technology should be introduced in the joint development projects. Meanwhile, talking to a delegation of National University of Medical Sciences in Islamabad, the President called for introduction of latest technology in the health sector. He said revolutionary steps should be taken on emergency basis in the health sector. The President said doctors performing duties in far flung areas will be given special incentives. He said there is direct need of trained manpower in the country.-Sabah
