Pakistan indeed is in very trustable and safe hands

After the issuance of the Supreme Court notices to the respondents in the Panamagate case, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has very ‘graciously’ and emphatically stated that he has been offering himself for the probe ever since the Leaks hit the headlines, but because of the ‘twisted’ behaviour of the PTI and the other opposition he has been denied the opportunity to come clean.
We should thank the Prime Minister for this very sporting declaration. He could easily have asked his ‘jesters’ namely Talal Chaudhry, Danyal Aziz, Zubair Umar and Abid Sher Ali etc to shift the direction of their guns from Imran Khan towards the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Many people are likely to have vivid memories of the ‘black day’ when scores of hoodlums had turned the SC building into a junkyard. They had done it to teach the then-Chief Justice a befitting lesson for having dared to lower the esteem of the honourable and unassailable Prime Minister.
That was then.
Mian Sahib had been able to catch Justice Sajjad Ali Shah off guard and unaware.
We are living today in a different world. In the political arena there is a crazily single-minded man called Imran Khan. In the GHQ rules a man who isn’t spineless. And the world of the media has gone far far beyond the lone PTV.
Not meaning thereby that MNS hasn’t unleashed his wrath against his archrival—Imran Khan. Khwaja Asif and Khwaja Saad Rafique were quick to offer their services to sling mud at Imran Khan for having given to Pakistan as deplorable a gift as Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital. Had he been as ‘sagacious’ as MNS he too would have diverted those funds to buying palatial apartments in London’s most prestigious locality. In that case there would have been no ‘November 2” and no court notices to the Sharif family.
Imran Khan has acted against all rationality and common sense. And now he is threatening to invade Islamabad with an army of Maddrassa-trained Taliban. This is obviously disturbing to Khwaja Asif who has informed the whole world of the capability of the threatening Taliban to overrun Islamabad— and take control of the Dreaded Button.
What a responsible Defense Minister!
Almost as good as the one who had fired ‘useful’ information in the direction of Cyril Almeida.
Pakistan indeed is in very trustable and safe hands.
