sirajulhaqSenator Sirajul Haq addressing the last session of JI Ijtima-e-Aam organized by JI KPK at Aza Khel area of Nowsher he said there should be strong Election Commission in country. He said JI wants electoral reforms prior to elections. Siraj said JI will initiate movement for the supremacy of Qurran and Sunnah in country. He said Islamic government will be set up in KPK after the 2018 elections. He said the tenure of the government should be decreased to four years from five years. He said people are being martyred in Kashmir but our rulers could not do anything for Kashmiris.
Siraj said a news story was leaked but government and established both are not ready to accept responsibility, adding that it is feared that the FIR of this matter would be lodged against the Imam of Faisal Mosque or against any burqa clad woman. He said whosoever has damaged the national interests the reality should be brought before to the nation.
Siraj said he wants election in country but for this purpose the voter lists should be verified. He said that there are bogus voter lists and hundreds and thousands bogus voters are enrolled in every constituency. He said in the presence of current Election Commission and in absence of electoral reforms every election becomes disputed. He said the Election Commission should be empowered and the commission should be given financial powers and polling staff should be employee of ECP. He said electoral reforms should be carried out prior to elections.
He said the elections in political parties should be held in the supervision of Election Commission of Pakistan.
Siraj said he will unite all patriotic people and religious parties for making Islamic Pakistan. Siraj said he will visit every seminary, khanqah and mosque and will meet every religious leader to invite him for getting rid of friends of US, corrupt leaders and secularism and liberalism. Siraj said if Jamaat-e-Islami will come into power in country it will ensure rights of women, adding that if any father will not educate his daughter he will be sent in jail. He said JI will provide free of cost education and health facilities to people, adding that if anyone would be homeless JI will provide home to him. He said the workers of JI should work for revolution, adding that the workers should tell Pakistanis that they could not become prosperous in presence of current rulers.
He said over 500 million rupees are being spent on the gardens present in President and Prime Minister Houses annually. He said from this money all young men and women of KPK who could not get married due to shortage of money could get married.
He said later Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in 114 speeches had linked the future of Pakistan with Islam but after 70 years prime minister of Pakistan says that the nation wants secular and liberal Pakistan. He said today justice is not being provided to poor people, adding that so called courts are working in country. He said a young man was declared innocent by Supreme Court after 19 years but it was come to know that the man was hanged two years ago. He said which kind of courts these are, adding that the courts have delivered judgments by following the ideology of necessity. He said the candidate who filed nomination papers against Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for contesting polls for PML-N president was not provided chair during the PML-N general council meeting.
He said the rulers have indebted the whole nation while taking loans from IMF and World Bank. He said government has taken 19 billion dollars loan during the last three years. He said there is loan of Rs 140000 on every Pakistani. He said the five percent people of country are honors of 64 percent land of Pakistan, adding that 63 percent people even have not a single inch land. He said election is selection in country with the force of money. He said those who are talking about democracy in country are lying. He said that the political partied which are not following democracy in their own parties how they would strengthen democracy in country.
He said our government could only carry out surgical strike against its people, adding that the surgical strike of rulers is on the pockets of Pakistanis. He said the rulers have made life difficult and death easier for people. He said Kashmiris have carried struggle against India 24400 days, adding that over one hundred thousand Kashmiris have been martyred during this period. He said every day four Kashmiris sacrificed their lives but Pakistan has done nothing for Kashmiris.
Sirajul Haq said people are presenting sacrifices and being martyred by Indian forces, Syed Ali Geelani is facing house arrest, Asiya Andabi is facing jails but Pakistani government has done nothing for them.
He said if restriction has been made on wine in Sindh then restriction should also be imposed on wine in other parts of country as well.-Sabah
