Is the world going to be ‘Bipolar’ again ? This question is being raised at different forums. Question is relevant , interesting and important too. With the surrender of USSR , eventually USA stood in arena as the sole super power and holds the stature till today . But it is a different world now and waves of change and shift are prominent . It was Afghan arena where Russia paid a heavy price for her follies . USA master minded the catastrophic Russian defeat by using Afghan hands and above all a vigorous cooperation from Zia regime was always there . What happened thereafter is all known and painful too for this region. Pleasure was all for USA which left a deadly unmanageable vacuum in Afghanistan . Sufferings were all exclusive for Afghanistan and Pakistan. In Post 9/11 scenario USA made a second entry in Afghanistan and the outcome is all disaster . A dangerous cut throat game is in play . Indian entry in Afghan arena with all guns blazing at Pakistan adds a lethal factor in complex regional equation . For USA , past allies the Mujahedeen , are now terrorists and the old partner Pakistan is no more a reliable friend . In fact , it was never in the past too as a trust deficit was always there between Pakistan and USA on account of Afghanistan . Obviously , terrorism is an impression being spread at international forums to harness the small countries . Iran was declared part of ‘Axis of Evil’ by USA in the past and now there exists a great tolerance blended with meaningful accommodative approach . As far as Pakistan’s case is concerned the same rule fits to the situation. ‘DO MORE’ demands have nothing to do with terrorism on ground. It is a reason to put Pakistan on back foot by building rapid diplomatic pressure . Question is that why all odds are for Pakistan while an unprecedented war against terror is being fought all across the country. Reply is simple and a bit disturbing too. USA is unable to digest Chinese expansion for which Pakistan is a pivotal instrument in the region . It has nothing to do with terrorism .It is all about conflict of global players . We experienced this in the past too and had enough of it in terms of losses to men , material and above all socio- religious dynamics . In the past , it was nothing about Afghan liberation , nothing about democracy and human rights ! we witnessed it . It was a dirty game of interests . Global players used this whole region for their interests and in return we were left with hunger , violence , crime , poverty and plague of terrorism . Chessboard has been reset ! More complex and challenging too . A regional alliance is in the making between Russia , China and Pakistan . A potent challenge emerging to American global dominance . America knows it ! Her designs in Syria were challenged by Russia militarily . Alarming sign! Afghanistan is another bundle of blunders on her shoulders for which the price is being paid the whole region. Pakistan , the old partner cum rival , is all set for a break up and not ready to listen ‘DO MORE’ from USA. These are serious developments for USA and she is taking it in real sense with no non – serious response . A wide scale military alliance with India is a serious step too , a dangerous maneuver against China. Indo -Pak traditional rivalry provided a suitable fault line to USA and the outcome is there . Presence of Mod at helm of affairs in India is another threat to regional peace but it suits to USA . With fresh re-alignments , the regional chessboard turns more complex , tricky and lethal . Like Modi’s extremist potentials , dangerous inefficiency of political leadership in Pakistan is another heavy odd . Lesson of the past adventures in Afghanistan are evident . Keep the national interest as the top priority and move forward with any alliance with due care . No global player will ever come for rescue for the self generated blunders . Pak cooperation with regional players seems a better option at the moment and has better prospects too but over reliance on any partner will not be suitable . It is a chessboard and every player maneuvers to safeguard his interest . our interests are our responsibility ! So be careful and take an in depth stock of the situation . Dear leaders it is not a time to make loud statements in public meetings ! A dangerous game is about to begin and unfortunately luck has pushed you to the decision making stature . Feel the responsibility and take some good decisions with due consultancy. After all a man’s wisdom is also judged through his consultants . It is no time to relax ! You are part of a dangerous game once again.
