ISLAMABAD, February 2: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah said on Tuesday that we will fight war along with the employees of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
While talking to media at Parliament House leader of the opposition said that first time in the history of the country any democratic government has enforced the Essential Services Maintenance Act 1952 in (PIA). He said dictators had used to enforce Essential Services Act in PIA in past.
He further said that when former dictator Ziaul Haq had imposed this act the International Labor Organization (ILO) had suspended the membership of Pakistan, adding that still there is a chance of cancellation of Pakistani membership by ILO.
Regarding petroleum prices Khurshid Shah said that the government is collecting 70 to 72 billion rupees from petroleum products monthly.
Replying another question regarding the statements of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Khurseed Shah said he will reply Chaudhry Nisar’s statements during National Assembly session.-Sabah
