ISLAMABAD, October 24: International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director, Christine Lagarde has expressed concern over corruption in Pakistan. According to a private TV channel, the IMF Chief visiting Pakistan for the first time in ten years in her charge sheet said on Monday that corruption is the biggest hurdle in the progress of Pakistan. She said that due to corruption Pakistan’s image at international level is not good.
She said if corruption exists in any country, it would affect international investment.-Monitoring Desk
