- Identifies Javed Sadiq as Shehbaz Sharif’s frontman

ISLAMABAD, October 26: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that only an independent judiciary could save the country from the corruption being done by the rulers.
“The PTI is ready to stage a mass protest in Islamabad on November 2 against the alleged corruption of the rulers. The premier should either return the ‘looted’ money to the exchequer or step down from his position”, Imran said while addressing Islamabad High Court Bar on Wednesday.
PTI chairman said that Pakistan is a great nation but being ruled by corrupt thugs. “This is a great nation but corrupt mafia are sitting at the helm of affairs to loot and plunder, safeguarding one another,” “Nowhere in the world a prime minister named in a corruption scandal continues to rule the country,” PTI chairman said.
“This is resulting in the destruction of national institutions, ethical practices and even the country’s ideology,” he added.
Imran repeated his oft-quoted stance that the 2013 general elections were not transparent or legitimate, saying a large number of the crucial Forms 15 were missing from elections results.
It is our democratic right to hold peaceful protest, which we will to exercise to purge this country of corruption, PTI chairman concluded.
Earlier on October 20, the Supreme Court issued a notice to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and others over petitions seeking his disqualification on account of Panama Papers leaks.
Imran Khan alleged that rulers of the country were involved in corruption through their frontman Javed Sadiq.
The PTI chief said Sadiq was Shehbaz Sharif’s frontman and had received Rs 15 billion in commission to date. He also released pictures of Sadiq while talking to media.
“Our rulers think corruption is legal and protest is illegal,” Khan said, adding that IMF chief had warned that no investment would flow into Pakistan until corruption is eliminated.-Online/Sabah
