- CM KPK to lead rally from Swabi to Bani Gala tomorrow

NOWSHEHRA, October 30: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Pervez Khattak has on Sunday announced to personally lead the rally from Swabi to Bani Gala. Lashing out at the federal government, he said that he’d remove all the barriers to Islamabad and lead the rally himself, sources reported.
Addressing a public meeting in Nowshehra, Pervez Khattak said that the ‘coward’ rulers had blocked all the roads to Islamabad because their seats were shaking. He announced to lead the rally from Swabi to Islamabad on October 31 at 10 AM.
Khattak said that Pakistan was being looted mercilessly. “We have to throw the rulers out of their offices”, he said. “This country was made for justice and prosperity. Do you like thieves?” he asked a charged crowd.
“There are ‘Gullus’ within the government as well who use police for their own interests. According to what law did Interior Minister get the roads blocked? You can lockdown the province, you can lockdown the country, but if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan does the same, it’s unconstitutional”, he said.
He added that Imran Khan had every right to lockdown Islamabad and nobody had the guts to even damage a hair of his. “We’ll get to Bani Gala by any means possible. I will personally lead the rally. We’ll remove all the containers, and reach Bani Gala”, he said.
Khattak alleged that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif had challenged the Pathans. “We’ll make an example out of these people if they tried to cut us off from Pakistan”, he said. He said that there was no reason to block his supporters’ way as they were peaceful people. “We allowed PM to hold rally in Kohat, why is he blocking us from holding public meeting in Islamabad”, he questioned.-Agencies
