Nawaz Sharif’s Assets Should be Frozen: PIHR to American Attorney GeneralLAHORE, November 5: Pakistan institute of Human Rights (PIHR) has written a letter to US Attorney General seeking freezing of all existing assets of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif in US.
According to media reports, PIHR, Chief, Barrister Muhammad Javed Iqbal through his letter has alleged  that PM Nawaz Sharif siphoned off billion of dollars from Pakistan to US . It has also been stated in the letter that with this money, PM purchased properties in US while under American laws, US authorities has powers to take action against any one found involved in money laundering.
PIHR, Chief demanded of US authorities to freeze the assets held by PM Nawaz Sharif in US besides taking legal action against him. -Online
