ISLAMABAD, November 14: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif on Monday vowed to continue to respond effectively to the Indian unprovoked firing and maintained that no stone will be left unturned to defend motherland.
According to DG ISPR Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa, General Raheel during a briefing in Jhelum said the army will leave no stone “unturned to defend the motherland”.
COAS was briefed on situation at LOC. army chief said that Pakistan army will continue to respond effectively to Indian firing and will leave no stone unturned to defend motherland.
The Army Chief also attended funeral prayer of the soldiers in Jhelum, who embraced martyrdom in Indian cross border firing at Line of Control.
General Raheel Sharif paid rich tributes to the valour and sacrifice of the brave soldiers.-Sabah
