Image result for incomeISLAMABAD, November 21: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would have to prove the source of his income used for purchase of the offshore companies, former judges and lawyers have said in their comments on Panama Leaks case.Speaking at a TV programme, a retired judge was of the opinion that the prime minister would have to prove his source of income used for purchasing flats in London. The burden of proof is not upon the petitioner but Nawaz Sharif and his family members would have required proving their source of income.
Justice (retd) Wajeehuddin talking in the news show said that the prime minister’s children were minor at the time of purchase of the flats in London. Nawaz Sharif would have to prove his source of income used for London apartments deal.Earlier, former chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry had said in another talk show “Power Play” that it will be over the prime minister to provide evidence of his income.
