PESHAWAR, November 25: The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that people voted PTI for its one point agenda of change as masses have been deprived of justice due to corruption and were facing difficulties in acquisition of services of basic needs of life adding that unless the system is not transformed and institution are not rectified the dream of progress and prosperity can’t be translated into reality in the country. This he said while addressing participants of National Defence Workshop arranged by National DefenCe University at Chief Minister House Peshawar on Friday. The participants of the workshop comprising members of provincial, National Assembly and Senators from all over the country. The participants were lead by Director General Institute for Strategic Studies, Research and Analysis Major General Ghulam Qamar.
Provincial Ministers and high ups were present on the occasion. Provincial Secretaries for Home and Planning & Development Department briefed the participants about the steps of the provincial government being taken for the improvement of law & order situation and speeding up development in the province.
The Chief Minister while referring to the difficulties and injustice faced by the common man said that political interference in Police, health, education and other sectors was the basic reason of these problems as politician not only interfere in the affairs of public institutions but were also supporting wrong doings. Highlighting reforms initiatives undertaken by the provincial government in the province, he said that the PTI led coalition government had made legislations to block the way of interference in the performance of public institutions. – PR
