ABBOTTABAD, November 26: The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that the present era poses daunting challenges of unprecedented kind and circumstances in every sphere of life that need human endeavors to face them and for this reason the present Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government was transforming the education dynamics while remaining focused on aims and objectives of our education system in accordance with the present day requirements. He was speaking as chief guest at Annual Parents Day and Prize Distribution Ceremony at Abbottabad Public School on Saturday. The Provincial Cabinet members, AlhajQalander Khan Lodhi, Mr. Abdul Haq, MNA Dr. Muhammad AzharJadoon, MPA and Chairman DDAC, Abbottabad, Sardar Muhammad Idrees, other notables, faculty members and large number of parents and students of the school attended the ceremony.
The Principal of the school Brigadier ® Javed Ahmed in his Annual Report highlighted performance, activities, achievements and future plans of the institution while the students presented impressive and colorful performances which were highly lauded by the audience and the chief guest.
The Chief Minister said that his government was reshaping the educational system in such manner that could enable the role of educational institutions to become focal in preparing the students to fight against the evils of society, particularly the extremist views and misconceptions of the religion. He added that all this would require enhancing the vision of the students beyond a narrow scope and they would be able to analyze various happenings objectively and play their role in the development and prosperity of the country. He also emphasized the teachers to play their vital to guide and expose their students to the realities of life in its true context and background without prejudice to anyone.-Online
