Pakistan wants peace, not war: Fatemi

ISLAMABA, December 4: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi has said that, “Pakistan is a peace- loving country and does not want to indulge in any war.”
In an interview, he however said that, “Pakistan is also not oblivious to its defence and responding befittingly to Indian aggression on the line of control (LoC).”
Special Assistant said, “The Indian forces are targeting the civilians living along the Line of Control and these violations are war crimes under the international laws.” He said, “Pakistan has a very well articulated foreign policy and the world had acknowledged its dialogue-driven policy.”
Fatemi said, “Pakistan is ready to talk to India on all the outstanding issues, including the core issue of Kashmir after the resumption of dialogue process.”-DNA
