ISLAMABAD, February 5: NAB Lahore in a case titled ‘Inquiry against Ch. Muhammad Ramzan, Advocate Tandliyanwala and others’, arrested Frass Hamid an officer of the NAB Lahore on allegations of abatement and rendering illegal assistance to the accused persons Ch. Muhammad Ramzan and Muhammad Akram who have already been arrested by NAB. The accused persons Ch. Muhammad Ramzan and Muhammad Akram had been arrested for receiving bribe and illegal gratification from person involved in different cases under process in NAB Lahore Bureau on different occasions. The accused persons used to make false promises of influencing the outcome of the cases. The arrest is an outcome of the Internal Accountability Mechanism (IAM), put in place as per the directions of the worthy Chairman NAB Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, aiming at zero tolerance against the delinquent and dishonest officers of the NAB.-PR
