ISLAMABAD, December 11: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday demanded a ban on hunting of Houbara bustards.
In a message on social media suite Twitter, Imran Khan said that the houbara bustard was a protect bird and there should a ban on hunting of the bird.
He added that he would talk to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Parvez Khattack, where the PTI is in government, not to allow anyone to haunt Houbara bustard in the province.
Imran tweeted: “I am going to speak to the KP CM not to allow anyone to hunt houbara Bustards in KP as it is a protected bird and hunting them is illegal.”-Sabah
