Ashraf Ghani is aggravated because he has failed to deliver peace and prosperity for the Afghans and he has found a natural ally in the form of extremist Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, who is also promoting hate, intolerance and violent extremisms in India to hide his failures. Against this backdrop, the recently concluded Heart of Asia Conference in Amritsar, India was business as usual for the Afghan and Indian delegations. To sideline from the discussions their failing domestic and international policies which are broiling a regional security crisis, halting regional integration and a surging human catastrophe, they divergently launched which seemed to be specifically designed and planned leveling of excessive accusations on Pakistan as being the hotbed of terrorism. However, the International Community present at the conference overtly rejected the accusations leveled at Pakistan and showed its commitments, respects and honor at the sacrifices the esteemed Pakistani Armed Forces and the legendary Pakistani people have given and are continuing to give for eradication of this wickedness. Pakistan’s positive role in enhancing the levels of cooperation and engagement with the dynamic International Community is on the path of a positive evolution for deeper integration of Eurasia and beyond, this is adding salt to the wounds for radical – extremist India who is bent upon using Afghanistan to halt this constructive process.
If Afghanistan follows in India’s folly it will surely be on the trajectory of becoming dysfunctional from within. The still remaining pockets of ungoverned spaces will be utilized as zones of influence and chaos by DAISH and its affiliates supported by India which is overtly transforming into an ideologically radical state bent upon usurping the freedom of its own citizens and pouring in hate and anger on the public sphere of the Indian citizens against Pakistan. The Afghan people should realize that who is giving space to external violent non-state actors in Afghanistan. The radical- extremists who are in power in India are secretly plotting to take away the cherished freedom of all Afghans by introducing DAISH in Afghanistan and also proposing tempting economic and trade packages which eventually will be fronts for the extremist Indian regime to infiltrate DAISH and their own intelligence tentacles for a covert and indirect occupation of Afghanistan with Ashraf Ghani being the leading abettor of these nefarious designs as the front man. Having being rebuked time and again by his own subordinates Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah and Vice President Abdul Rashid Dostum as “unworthy to rule Afghanistan” and “undeserving to serve the government”, what next to do is to become fumed, angered and divert the failures towards an external hand in homegrown problems.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani are angry because they know that they are wrong, the blatant lies which they have been feeding to their people have been exposed and the rising trends of deeper economic and political integration which is taking shape due to opening of China Pakistan Economic Corridor to be grounded in Pakistan are giving them headaches. Narrow- minded leaders who have failed to deliver on their promises do what they are best at, that is to level accusations on an external entity and for them this has always been Pakistan. If Ashraf Ghani is true to his word of bring perpetual peace in the region, then why he is shying away from the China – Pakistan Economic Corridor which will diversify Afghanistan’s transport and trade links, ushering in economic prosperity. He is bent upon making Afghanistan submissive; the Indian economic package in reality is a new indirect approach of occupation of the sacred Afghan land. Having fought of the British, & the Soviet invaders, the failures of the current US led forces in Afghanistan, the lessons being learnt are to follow an indirect approach of covert and secret occupation of Afghanistan with India playing the lead role. So do Afghans want to be indirectly subservient, valor-less, menial and a modern day neo- colonized state with no international respect but being a laughing stock? If so then Afghans should cheer for Ashraf Ghani who is selling the future of Afghan men, women and children to this indirect occupation.
Ashraf Ghani is a collaborator in bringing an end to the free spirited and valorous Afghan people causing damage to the historical and sacred Afghan traditions. Touting the line of a nefarious proto- fascist and transformed dictator from an elected representative of a self proclaimed democracy, Ashraf Ghani is hurting the ancient Afghan traditions of courage and heroism of the great Afghan leaders who have shaped regional political processes in the past. Being an eccentric, Ashraf Ghani is not fit to be the leader of the Afghan people, he is leading Afghanistan towards becoming subservient to and a loyal servant of an Indian led indirect occupation of Afghanistan. Afghans have to realize that as for centuries they have defended their motherland from external aggressors, under the contemporary times now external aggressors will not come with weapons but with tempting economic packages which in reality are economic and political subservience of all the Afghans and a final end to their historical independent tradition and spirit.
The people of Pakistan have and continue to view their Afghan brothers with respect and coming from similar origins. Pakistan has time again proposed peace initiatives which would have brought a complete end to conflict in Afghanistan. Pakistan still continues to host with greatest hospitality the Afghan brethren and most willingly will also as in the past come to the assistance of Afghan brethren to uphold their ancient traditions of valor. Pakistan has suffered the most along with the people of Afghanistan, sharing a common history of triumphs and despair, the legendary Pakistan people along with their esteemed armed forces will continue to bring a halt to any approach of direct or indirect occupation and evil ingress deep inside Afghanistan.
However, a few ruling pawns whose control is in the hands of a nefarious regime continue to cause damage to the common bonds of culture, language, race, religion, political and economic linkages between the Afghan and Pakistani people. Any such efforts did not get success in the past as Pakistan and Afghanistan are conjoint twins despite being sovereign and independent states and their people wish for a common peaceful and prosperous future.
