The Ameer-Jamaat Islami KPK has hit the right nail on the head by saying that it is because of inept Muslim leadership that over 6 crore Muslims are countryles today and are living a life of refugees. Truer words were never spoken.
What good is the OIC if it cannot ensure unity among the Muslims?
The anti -Muslim forces need not use atom bomb against the Muslims. They have very cunningly plated time bombs of sectarianism and linguistic jingoism among them which they explode through remote control with the help of Mir Jaffars and Mir Sadiqs among the Muslims . It is the Muslim countries which are engaged in the mutually destructive internecine wars. It is the Muslims who are bearing the brunt of suicide bombing as well as other forms of terrorism. The Muslims are themselves treading a path which only leads to their destruction. The anti -Muslim forces have not harmed them more than the harm which they themselves caused to their coreligionists
Barring the summit meeting of head of Islamic countries which ZA Bhutto had arranged in Lahore as back as in 1974 in which King Faisal supported him from the core of his heart, no other worthwhile attempt to solidify Muslim world was ever made. The anti-Muslim forces could not digest it . They feared that the Lahore summit could lead to the formation of an Islamic bloc. Small wonder both Bhutto and King Faisal were removed not only from their office but from this world too.
One can only pity that there isn’t any statesman in the entire Muslim world today of the calibre of the two leaders named above though there are short-sighted politicians galore who could carry forward the legacy of Lahore summit.
