WEBDESK: Lahore Qalandars set a huge target of 195 for Quetta Gladiators in the eight match of Paksitan Super League (PSL) at Dubai Cricket Stadium on Monday.
Quetta won the toss and elected to bowl first. Lahore Qalandars made one change with Chris Gayle replaced by Ajantha Mendis.
Lahore Qalandars opening pair Camroon Delport and Azhar Ali gave a good start while with a partnership of 62 runs.Azhar Ali (20) was dismissed by Umar Gul. Umar Akmal came in to put the batting on fire with his quickfire 85 runs off 40 balls. Akmal was well supported by Camron Delport (73).
Umar Akmal smashed in all directions of the ground and scored brilliant 93 in just 40 balls. This is the highest run in the PSL so far. Lahore Qalandars end up their innings on 194/3.
Anwer Ali took 1 for 27 runs.
