
ISLAMABAD, January 19: Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Sheikh Anser Aziz has said that neglect ion of Sector I-11 and its allottees by CDA is the past story. The allottees of Sector I-11 will not be neglected and disappointed anymore. All the concerned directorates have been directed to do away with hurdles of
all kinds in development of Sector I-11. Development of Sector I-11 is a top priority now after allotment of alternate plots in lieu of deleted plots through balloting, Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman CDA, Sheikh Anser Aziz further said. Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman CDA, Sheikh Anser Aziz expressed these views while setting in motion balloting of alternate plots in lieu of deleted plots of Sector I-11. The balloting was held at Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad on Thursday.
CDA conducted the balloting of 142 plots in lieu of deleted plots. The plots were deleted due to their inability for construction of houses.
The plots were deleted because they fell in nullahs or depression. The plots falling in graveyards or deleted due to road expansion were also part of the list. 142 allottees were given alternate plots through balloting on Thursday. The balloting was held under the supervision of five members committee headed by Member Planning and Design, Asad Mehmood Kiyani. Deputy Director General Finance, Deputy Director General Estate, Director Regional Planning and Director Estate Management (West) were members of the committee. The balloting was conducted in highly transparent manner in presence of the allottees and media. CDA had invited NAP and FIA representatives also to see the proceedings.
