RSS (RashtriyaSwayamsevakSangh) has been baying for blood ever since the advent of Pakistan. The appointment of NarendraModi as the Prime Minister of India was indicative of the RSS and BJP warranted impending atrocities on the minorities in India. The goal of Modi’s government has been popularized to ‘punish’ Pakistan for its ‘sins’. The propaganda of terrorism has been harshly accentuated to demean the existence of Pakistan in the international world. The infamous phenomenon has been wrongly associated with Pakistan especially by Indian government that continuously created a hyperbole of the entire situation when they themselves have been funding the terrorists underhandedly.
A secret meeting that took place in November last year, aimed to increase aggression towards Pakistan. This particular meeting was headed by Mohan Bhagwat, Chief of RSS which was also attended by Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi, serving 3rd term as General Secretary of RSS, Sureshi Sony (Secretary), Krishna Gopat, MajojBiyani and DrSubhashBhambre (Minister of State for Defence).It was also attended by the Prime Minister Modi who was apparently very proud of being swayamsevak.
Prime Minister Modi made important appointments recently including COAS, RAW and IB Chiefs. Now the RSS have their own men to lead their highly sensitive organizations.Modi along with the ambitious newly appointed Chief’s and DGMO may resort to some limited action against Pakistan that can be used for political gains through inflated projections. The expectation of such is massive and alarming. The association of the top government profession with an organization that is known to be intolerant towards the minorities is a red flag in itself.
A military operation was planned against Pakistan on the Line of Control, working boundary and even international border to have favorable impact on the outcome of elections and it is being predicted that it will have the same dynamics as Uri attacks in September ’16 along with creating false flag situation to justify the surgical strikes to appease extremist groups and to convince Indians that India can act tough with Pakistan. Even developing a second strike capability only raises the threshold of nuclear war higher. Once it has been crossed no country can afford to be the second to use nuclear weapons. The very first indication of a cold start from the Indian side will therefore force Pakistan to retaliate full force. The first Indian nuclear missile will be responded with a full scale nuclear retaliation against every base, cantonment and city in the country. India had claimed to have conducted a surgical strike in Pakistan controlled Kashmir across the Line of Control. Even though Pakistan denied any surgical strike, Indian media,the director general of military operations Lt. General Ranbir Singh, publically announced the strike to pre-empt infiltration by terrorists. Pakistan, however, claimed that the soldiers were killed in a cross border fire. “The notion of surgical strike linked to alleged terrorists’ bases is an illusion being deliberately generated by India to create false effects,” the Pakistani military said in a statement.
India is still in the cusp of developing a sophisticated and modernized asymmetrical capability to conduct counter terror operations while training the forces on the Cold war models. India’s capacity for conducting successful surgical strikes now comes into question. Lest this sound fanciful, but the surgical strikes conducted through airborne or artillery based precision or ground force based assaults; both need a very meticulously designed intelligence collection, platforms, and surveillance of target sites, something which India has not been able to perfect as of yet. Even though the Indian military aims to better its tactics, its decisions have been severely dominated by the RSS. It can achieve this goal only in concert with the idea of separating from extremist parties that do little but promote fanaticism in the region.
The RSS associated new Indian COAS has been portrayed as an expert of ‘Surgical Strikes’ to the domestic Indian audience as he has reportedly conducted cross border strikes against Naga rebels in Myanmar. Reportedly, India carried out practices in Kishtwar, Samba, Jammu and Bhatinda of surgical strikes which can be used to take pictures and videos of the event to spread false information about the ‘future surgical strikes’. Such fake activities aim to boost the morale of the Indian troops and to maintain the readiness to conduct a real strike on an opportune moment.
Despite advocating peace, unfortunately, every single thing that the Modi government is doing in Kashmir is only exacerbating the tension between Pakistan and India. The BJP’s policy makers and their RSS over-lords, are fixated on the idea that Pakistan is ravening at the mouth to swallow Kashmir. So it is taking advantage of the BJP’s ascent to power to stoke Kashmiri separatism, using paid stone pelters as its principal weapon.
Anti-Pakistan statements with provocative themes and jargons by Indian civil and military leadership are deplorable. Pakistan’s elected and military leaderships have shown immense tolerance and calm attitude, while the enemy keeps yelling for a possible confrontation and an impending one too. Indian politicians and top Generals must understand the implications of war-mongering, provocative statements and warnings to peaceful neighbor, who is equally equipped, if not more, to respond effectively and efficiently.
