Is it kakistocracy or democracy?

There is a Greek word Kakistos which means worst .The word kakistocracy is derived from it .These days some political analysts are billing the American government as not a government of the people for the people but as a kakistocracy for the benefits of knaves at the cost of fools.In other words it is being billed as a government by the worst people.Some analysts say Trump makes Nixon look honest,Clinton look chaste and Bush look smart as he combines in his personality some of the worst qualities of some of the worst US presidents.
Trump is also being accused of taking in his cabinet many ministers who lack experience.Time alone would tell how he and his team fares up.He has already made some very harsh decisions on the immigration issue which indicates that he very much means business and is likely to translate into reality what ever he has been promising with the American electorate at the hustings.
Time was when US had presidents of the stature of George Washington,Abraham Lincoln,Jefferson,Roosevelt, Eisenhower, to mention a few who were known for their political acumen,farsightedness,tolerance and understanding of the world politics.Today the Americans have elected a former wrestler who believes in brawn rather than brain.
