LAHORE, February 10: Fauji Fertilizer Companyhas added yet another feather to its cap by being conferred with the Best Presented Annual Report Award 2014, in the Manufacturing Sector category by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA).
The SAFA award is presented to recognize and nurture professional excellence in the field of financial reporting in the region and winners are selected after systematic evaluation of the published annual reports by an eminent panel of judges from leading professional institutions across the region.
The prestigiousSAFA award was presented byFinance Minister Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Darto Mr. Mohammad Munir Malik, CFO Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited,at an event held in Lahore.FFC’s Annual Report 2014 had earlier won the first position in corporate reporting and sustainability at an event jointly organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan.
FFC has had the honour of receiving prestigious awards in the past as well. These awards are an addition and a testament of Company’s commitment to win recognition for transparency, accountability and governance of business in Pakistan while effectively pursuing multiple growth opportunities in an ethically and socially responsible manner.
