TANDO MUHAMMAD KHAN, February 27: : Going by the history books, it is unlikely that the Panama verdict will be against the Sharif family, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Monday.
He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a flyover in Tando Muhammad Khan district of Sindh.
He added that the PPP will announce its strategy in the parliament once a verdict is announced in the Panama case. “We are waiting for the verdict,” he said. Dismissing rumours about Irfanullah Marwat joining the PPP Bilawal said the decision had not been taken yet and they had just held a single meeting. However, the PPP is a democratic party and is open to anyone who wants to join them, he maintained. A few days back, news of Marwat joining PPP made rounds, resulting in statements from Aseefa and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari who called him “sick” and “repulsive”.-Agencies
