Kulbhushan, Raymond Davis, Black Water behind terrorism: Sirajul Haq

LAHORE, March 3: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the terrorist activities in the country were the work of Kulbhushan Yadav, Raymond Davis and Black Water agents and not of any Pakistani.
Pakistan, the only state which came into being in the name of Islam, which is a nuclear power and capable of leading the Muslim world, is an eye sore for the enemy who wanted to destabilize this country and shatter its national unity and harmony, after Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen and Syria, he said, at a Pakhtoon Jirga at Mansoora on Friday.
Pakhtoon Ittehad movement chief Farooq Khan, Arshad Khan from Buner , Badar Khan from Mahmand Agency and Anjuman e Tajiran Balochisitan General Secretary Akbar Khan, also addressed the Jirga.
Sirajul Haq said that terrorism was an issue of the entire nation and it should not be projected as a conflict between the Sindhis, Punjabis,
Baloch and the Pakhtoons. He called upon the Punjab and Sindh governments to take immediate notice of the biased actions against the Pakhtoons and the Balochs and stop their unjustified for harassment.
The JI chief said that an army could not win a war if it did not enjoy public support. He said that the enemy was trying to plunge this nation in to regional, racial and ethnic divide and undermine its unity and the challenge could be faced only by maintaining a complete national unity and harmony.
Sirajul Haq said that Pakistanis were a peace loving and patriotic people who had faced the conspiracies of India, Israel and the US. However, he said, that because of the wrong policies and misdeeds of the rulers, Pakistan and the Punjab were being criticized and the enemy had an opportunity to fan ethnic biases.
He slated the arrests of the Pakhtoons and the Balochis in the Punjab and Sindh under the cover of investigation and said this was playing with the country’s solidarity.
JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch, in his address, said that no patriotic citizen could differ so far as restoration of peace and the elimination of terrorism was concerned. However, he said, that the NAP had raised issues about religion, sects, mosques and madrissahs and now the operation Radul Fasaad operation had raised ethnic and regional issues. He termed the FATA reforms as a historic victory of the tribal people.
JI Parliamentary leader Sahibzada Taruqullah, in his address, said that the Pakhtoons had offered unforgettable sacrifices for Pakistan’s defense and lakhs of the Pakhtoon were acting as unpaid soldiers of the country shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces.
He demanded immediate release of the national Identity cards of around three and a half lakh Pakhtoons held up by NADRA. -NNI
