LAHORE, March 12: Former Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that the doors of politics must be closed for corrupt people.
Addressing the delegations of workers here on Sunday, he said corruption is heinous crime which can’t be forgiven on any cost.
He said history will not forgive the corrupt people and they will be held accountable for their corruption. Sarwar said we are not against democracy, Parliament and Constitution but against the corrupt people. Former Governor said that it seems that the rulers are ruining the state institutions without any checks and balances.
He said these institutions have become a burden on the people and all state policies have failed and country has entangled in piles of debt. “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has always tried to take onboard all the political parties on corruption because eradication of corruption is essential to solve problems of poverty, unemployment and terrorism”, he added. -Online
