SAHIWAL, March 15: Another three hardcore terrorists were executed at High Security Prison Sahiwal on Wednesday. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), these terrorists were involved in committing heinous offences relating to terrorism, including attacks on Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs). These convicts were tried by military courts. They were awarded death sentences after admitting their offences before the Magistrate and the trial court.

Convict Said Zaman Khan son of Said Nawas Khan was an active member of Harkat ul Jehad-e-Islami. He was involved in attacking Armed Forces which resulted in death and injuries to soldiers as well as damage to government property.
Convict Muhammad Zeeshan son of Abdul Qayyum Khan was also an active member of Harkat ul Jihad-e-Islami. He was involved in attacking Armed Forces which resulted in death and injuries to soldiers.
Convict Shawaleh son of Gul Khan was an active member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). He was involved in attacking LEAs and Armed Forces which resulted in death and injuries to soldiers.
Of total 161 awarded death sentence by military courts 21 have been executed, the ISPR stated. -DNA
