There has never been a dearth of traitors like Mir Jaffar and Mir Sadiq amongst us and there has never been shortage of spies belonging to the non-muslim countries for fomenting trouble in the Muslim world. Lawrence of Arabia was one of the British spies who was instrumental in the break up of Ottoman Empire in collusion with Sharif Hussain ,governor of Makkah and later on getting rid of him also by supporting the Saud tribe of Hejaz.
It is through his conspiracies that the Middle East which once used to be a single political unit was fragmented into many parts like Iraq,Jordan,Lebanon ,Syria Palestine ,Saudi Arabia and Kuwait etc etc.
It was the same Lawrence of Arabia who after accomplishing his mission by breaking Ottoman Empire came to Waziristan for making it as a launching pad inciting the locals for a rebellion against King Amanullah of Afghanistan who was by the Britishers as pro-Soviet with radical views. He succeeded in his mission and before his machination could be known publicly he was withdrawn by the Brits to England. He wrote three books captioned as The seven pillars of Wisdom,The Mint and Battle of the Desert. Famous English dramatist Bernard Shaw and British politician Winston Churchill were his pals and they edited his books.
It is also said that while in Lahore he married with one Akbar Jehan whom he divorced later on. The said lady is said to have later entered into a wedlock with Sheikh Abdullah the famous Kashmiri leader.
